Scope: After the discovery and development of topological insulators and superconductors, many of the new wave propagation phenomena found in materials science and device physics have been identified and understood through new degrees of freedom based on topological invariants. The purpose of this symposium is to bring together researchers conducting research from a topological perspective in various fields, including natural sciences and engineering, and to share their latest research. Topics covered in the presentations are expected from (but not limited to) the fields of i) acoustics/phononics/mechanics, ii) photonics/optics, iii) topological insulators, iv) spintronics and magnonics, v) topological superconductors, vi) soft and biological matters.
